P.I.T.A. by Brooke Blaine REVIEW

P.I.T.A. (L.A. Liaisons Book 3) by [Blaine, Brooke]

Goodreads   Amazon   Twitter    Website
As one of the most prestigious wedding coordinators in Los Angeles, Paige Iris Traynor-Ashcroft is known for being classy, elegant, and the orchestrator of many happily-ever-afters.

But in the words of Paige herself: “What a crock of shiitake.”

Known affectionately (or not) as P.I.T.A. to those closest to her, she’s never been one to buy into the whole monogamy thing for herself. Sure, her BFFs are getting picked off by Cupid one by one, but his arrows have nothing on her semiautomatic.

Richard “Dick” Dawson does his best to live up to his name. A long-time frenemy and manwhore extraordinaire, he thrives on pushing limits, pushing up skirts—and pushing every single one of Paige’s buttons. He’s the itch she can’t scratch, and doesn’t want to. Or does she?

What happens when blazing-hot rage turns to crazy, unexplainable lust? Surely Because that would just be a total P.I.T.A.

P.I.T.A . is a standalone within a series. All books in the L.A. Liaisons series can be read independently of each other and in mixed order. For maximum reading pleasure, the published order is: LICKED, HOOKER, P.I.T.A.

Since reading Licked, I know there's certain things I can expect from a Brooke Blaine book: 1) A cute romance 2) actual laugh out loud moments

P.I.T.A. absolutely did not disappoint. Sure the novel title stands for Paige Iris Traynor-Ashcroft's initials but it can also stand for Pain In The Ass (can't wait to use that one!)

We've already met Paige through Ryleigh and Shayne - she's the rich girl with a big heart and an even bigger love for men. What I loved most about Paige is that she doesn't fall into any of the rich girl traps.Sure she's a bit of a mess and her parents aren't the best, but she has a great group of friends as well as a strong work ethic. This wouldn't be a good comedic romance book if Paige wasn't a wedding planner that didn't believe in marriage.

The man of the hour is Richard "Dick" Dawson. I love that name, it sounds like the name of a character from a 90s movie that's burrowed his way into all your future romantic expectations. Anyway, Paige and Richard have known each other since childhood and he's a really sweet match for Paige. The girls all seem to be fans - this is rare and should not be ignored!

Paige and Richard were great at pushing each other but they were even greater at being amazing for one another. This book covers two of my favourite tropes, one of which is a spoiler but I do love a good second chance romance!

Don't forget to check out Licked and Hooker too!
